The special academic institution, Suddhananda Vidyalaya functioning under Samvit Sagar Trust located at Nachhipur in district of Cuttack was established by Pujya Swami Suddhananda Ji in the year 2002 with the strength of nine students. Our institution has been steadily expanding over the years and the present strength of the school has grown up to 461 having classes from LKG to Std X. The school had already got the N.O.C from the Govt of Odisha up to Std X, and now the school is affiliated to CBSE New Delhi up to class XII.
A team of 24 well qualified teachers under the guidance of the Principal, Shri. Debendra Kumar Sarangi, M.A, M.Ed. has dedicated itself for the betterment of the school. There are 14 (Forteen) non teaching staff including office assistant, drivers, helpers and aayas for the smooth running of the school.
Within a short span of time the infrastructure for a full fledge high school is made. The school is also providing hostel facilities for the students. The performance of the hostel students are highly appreciated by the guardians. Brni. Manisha Chatanyaji, and the residential teachers are looking after them with utmost care by providing excellent coaching and valuable guidance. For the inner development of the teachers Swami Atamananda Ji is taking Self Knowledge classes once in a week. For the moral and spiritual development of the students,Brni. Manisha Chatanya Ji Secretary – cum – Manager of the Vidyalaya takes SYM and Chanting classes for the children and take care of the accounts of the school. Brni. Mahima Chatanya Ji regularly visits our school for providing us value based education.
MOTTO
The motto of our school is ‘SAA VIDYA YAA VIMUKTAYA’, meaning “ The education is that which liberates’. The staff has shouldered all the responsibilities to guide and escort the students by exercising their utmost care in congenial atmosphere for their all round development. The present educational system believes in the multidimensional development of student’s personality and promotes to bring out inward talents of young kids. A special competition programme has been organized to conduct various literary competitions and dramatization within one week just before the Children’s Day in the name of ‘Talent Week’. To develop competitive sprit among the children and better interaction with the students of the Vidyalayas of Cuttack and Bhubaneswar, we had conducted an Inter School Competition on 5th April, 2012. The winners were awarded by the Chief Guest on the Annual Day Function.
Our institution has been conducting classes on Sculpting Young Minds, Yoga, Computer Science, Chanting and practical classes in Mathematics laboratory, Science laboratory and Computer laboratory by the competent staff.
To create a feeling of national unity, uniformity and integrity our school is observing all the festivals such as Independence Day, Republic Day, Gandhi Jayanti, Shastri Jayanti, Neta Ji Jayanti, Teachers Day, Children’s Day, Guru Purnima, Ganesh Chaturthi and Basant Panchami.
